Found a Black and Decker Workmate 525 discarded at the facilities, in working order, rusty but usable. Just needs four clips for the dual height legs, cost £2.99 each.
This is a Black and Decker Workmate 525 with the aluminium body. Really light and dual height. Needs a little refurbishment but what find.
Moored up catching our breath before tackling the Audlum 15.
Spotted what looked like a huge fungus in the hedgerow and went back for it after we moored up and got all these. Nice ried in butter. Nice poached in milk with trout. Nice in fish pie.
Stayed fro nearly three weeks waiting for the damsons to ripen.
While we were here we had many beautiful skies but this one was worthy of recording.
This one also worthy of note.
Where we were moored for a couple of weeks while waiting for the damsons to ripen. Two mile walk into Audlum down the flight for shopping and provisions and to check on the state of the damsons.
Had to do something with my time so I documented my workshop with some of the tools stored there. The table saw set up ready for use with the vacuum cleaner attached to remove all the sawdust before it gets into the boat.
The router table sett up again with the hoover attached and the drill stand beside.
The lathe with some of the turning tools and the socket set and the tap and die set.
Damsons improving, picked a kilo today.
Walked into Audlum today and picked up my medication. Fish and chips for lunch. Fish and chips is my special treat.
Picked about five kilos of damson on the way back to the boats.
Damsons ripening daily, picked another five kilos today.
Made a little progress in terms of our journey, made lots of progress in terms of stocking up on damsons, nearly ten kilos today.
