More of the same. Three highlights this month. The first
was going to Coventry Arena to see the snooker on my
birthday. I think that Mark Selby must have heard that I
was there as he made a maximum
break of 147 against Neil Robertson only the third in
his career.
The second was visiting with Richard to see the progress on
his boats, impressive but still a long way to go before he
is afloat.
The third was wandering around shackerstone and finding the
local village hall. The hall has a garden of sorts and in
the garden is an apple tree. Late in the year but just
loads of windfalls on the ground and many apples still on
the tree. We figured that if the locals wanted them they
would have collected them by now so after sampling one and
finding that they are very good eaters we helped ourselves
to several kilos. Back at the boat they were soon pureed
and squirrelled away in kilner jars.
