A dodger is the bit of canvas that goes around the back of the boat to help keep the wind off the legs while travelling and to stop D'fer jumping on and off the boat at will. To do this I will need a piece of tarpaulin some lacing hooks and some ball bungees.

Why buy one "lifetime" needle threader when you can buy two?

Shopping in Macclesfield. In the market there was a haberdashers where I looked at needle threaders. One in particular looked quite good and I spoke to the proprietor explaining that the needle threaders I had been using kept breaking. He told me that the ones I was looking for would last a lifetime. I immediately purchase two of them. Afterwards I thought to myself that if each one would last a lifetime why on earth would I need two. The signal booster that I had ordered arrived and when fitted worked perfectly.
