Used facilities at Sutton Wharf and disposed of the mattress from Dreamcatcher as the charity shops didn't want it. They didn't want the swivel chairs either. Plumbworld 34.99 The Pet Store/Sainsbury's Hinckley

Purchased cable to extend the fridge from it's old position to the new location from Market Bosworth Marina. Filled up with diesel etc while we were there.
Caught the bus into Hinckley to go shopping at Iceland/Sainsbury's.
Lockdown is official, no more travelling, no more shoping, no more mixing, I'll need to organise the supply of food.
Collected a couple of big logsfrom Bridge 40 on the way to our chosen mooring location. Spent the afternoon planking them with the chainsaw to make a bookcase. Contacted River Canal Rescue to sort out the starting problems Iowner.
Telecon with Glyn Bamford 13:20. In principle that I (on Iowner) can hover around the Snarestone to Stoke Golding area for the duration of the Corona Virus episode, but should avoid mooring on visitor moorings if possible. Purpose to avoid social contact as I am over 70 and have COPD, (he may need confirmation from the doctor but would not be prepared to pay for the letter) and be close to the pharmacy and local shops that I or my carer can walk to. Confirmed by email.
Tried contacting local charity organisations and the only one that responded was the Waterways Chaplaincy, Steve Carter who agreed that he could do a weekly shop of three or four bags. Topped up with diesel, coal and gas. Found the local farm shop, Thomlinson Family farm shop.
Moored close to NB Sleepy Jean with Shiela and Bob (her dog) on board.
Stephen Carter, the Waterways Chaplain arrived with four bags of shopping, I can pay him by bank transfer.
Organised the purchase of a new cooker and a new loo from Midland Chandlers, who will hold on to them until delivery can be organised.
Stephen Carter arrived with our weekly shop. Ordered heat resistent boards & gas fittings from Wolesley.
