Aerial system stopped working, used the stick aerial to watch the snooker.
Looked up 4 hp diesel engines (for a heavy duty battery charger).
Into Whaley Bridge to use the facilities, rubbish, porta pottie, water. Purchased 13kg gas bottle from the fuel boat.
Spent the day in Sheffield where Hermione is working at the moment. It was really nice to see her and catch up on her news. Fitted the breasting ring on one side of Forty Two.
I have decided to make and fit a dodger to the back of Forty Two. A dodger is the bit of canvas that goes around the back of the boat to help keep the wind off the legs while travelling and to stop D'fer jumping on and off the boat at will. To do this I will need a piece of tarpaulin some lacing hooks and some ball bungees.
Bumped into Pete on Celeste. Identified problem with aerial system, it's the signal booster. Found the local launderette.
Collected post from the post office. My prescription has arrived but the pharmacy cannot fulfil it till Monday.
Took all the double curtains down and replaced them with a single curtain. Now I only have to draw the curtains to one side rather than both sides and they take up far less room and let in more light when open.
Washed curtains, swapped the little rings for bigger rings at either end of the curtains so that they can be un-hooked. Collected medication from pharmacy.
Shopping in Macclesfield. In the market there was a haberdashers where I looked at needle threaders. One in particular looked quite good and I spoke to the proprietor explaining that the needle threaders I had been using kept breaking. He told me that the ones I was looking for would last a lifetime. I immediately purchase two of them. Afterwards I thought to myself that if each one would last a lifetime why on earth would I need two. The signal booster that I had ordered arrived and when fitted worked perfectly.
Went shopping in Leek and got some more of my favourite cheese. Lacing hooks and tarpaulin rings arrived. Lacing rings are little hooky things that are screwed onto the side of the boat to hold the little bungee cords that hold tonneau covers on. Cut the tarpaulin in half and glued and sewed a piece of rope into the cut seam. Fitted the rings. Purchased the correct screws to fix the lacing rings to the side of the boat.
Engine service at 4080 hours running, this is a 750 hour service. Fitted two lacing hooks, now I need some ball bungees before fitting the rest.
Day off
Lyme Green, Bosley Top Lock Topped up with diesel, 100Lt £64. Motored along to the top lock.

Fitted second breasting hook to tie Olive to when travelling side by side. Fitted second set of dodger lacing hooks.
Purchased air filter, oil filter and oil to replace items used for service.
Took the rearmost solar panel off the roof for the journey through the tunnel as that was the one that I almost lost last time I went through the tunnel.
Etruria Collected new table and stools in flat pack, assembled them and got rid of the old table. Stored two fold up chairs and a folding table in the wet locker.
Moved around the corner.
Quiet weekend.
Walked my travelling companion to the train station. She is off camping for a few days at her favourite spot, Buckden. Built a bedroom divider to separate the salon from the bedroom.
my travelling companion came back from camping early.
Launderette.
Moored up close to the Wedgewood factory, emptied elsan on the way.
Nowhere to moor up in Stone and no TV signal so moved on a couple of miles until we got a halfway decent TV signal so that we could watch the football.

A friendly fisherman donated the remains of his maggots when he had finished so I can enjoy a little fishing while I am here.
