Mooching around between Brinklow, Stoke Golding and Atherstone collccting wood where available. One load of wood was at Grange Road Bridge. An ash tree down in a field adjacent to the canal but accessable from the roadway. Actually just a branch but the branch was nearly two feet in diameter at the base and although we took enough to last for several weeks there was still loads left. Perhaps we will come back for more another time.
my travelling companion took the train to her doctors in Banbury for her annual checkup on the 13th. All OK.
